Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment to promote the skins ability to regrow collagen and elastin. After we turn 30, our body stops creating 1% of collagen per year. This is why when a baby gets a scratch on their face, it heals so quickly. Also, blood flow tends to recede from the face. MIcroneedling creates micro channels in the skin which stimulate fibroblasts in the skin to promote the growth of collagen and elastin. Also, the body revascularizes the microneedled area which brings new blood flow and a fresh bright appearance. The skin matrix regrows, which lessen the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and age spots.

Each acu-microneedling session is a 90-minute, full body rejuvenation allowing time to support your total body wellness and address signs of aging systemically.
Systemic points are used to address energetic imbalances, support the healing of the skin on the face. During these sessions, we can address other health concerns such as pain, sleep, and anxiety. The treatment begins with a general intake where I take a pulse diagnosis and examine your tongue, gaining insight into your physical and energetic imbalances.
I utilize analgesic auricular points to soothe the nervous system and buffer any sensations felt during the micro needling process and numbing ointment is available. Once the needles are placed and the numbing cream has activated, I begin the micro needling process. I use the Aculift™ MicroPen, a medical grade micro needling system and customized skincare products during and after treatment to maximize results. Aculift skincare products are made to order, in small batches here in the USA, are cruelty-free and contain no harsh chemicals. Additionally, I utilize Celluma LED Therapy during the microneedling session AND cosmetic session.

Expert Training
I received advanced training in facial rejuvenation techniques in 2018 and added microneedling to my practice in 2021 after further training by Michelle Gellis, international instructor in cosmetic acupuncture.
I selfishly got involved with cosmetic acupuncture because I wanted to treat my own drooping eye lid and added microneedling to my personal practice when I realized I was aging for real and needed reinforcements.
My favorite parts of this practice include bearing witness to the deepest breath of relief as patients settle in to the table to receive this work, joyous text messages about how happy they are about their results & compliments they’ve received, and being in true service to others.
